Unruly sea.

23rd November 2024

This is my first 12x16 inch silver gelatine print that I made last weekend. I'm very pleased that my setup for these larger prints is working and I really like the results. It is a real difference from the smaller 8x10 prints.

I use a DURST M605 color enlarger with an 80mm lens for the 6x6 format. For paper I use Ilford Multigrade glossy PE paper, which I have in various sizes. But I also try other papers to see which one I like best.

The next step is to selenium-tone the print for better archiving, mat it, find a place to hang it on the wall and enjoy it.

Update on 24 November 2024

Yesterday I did the selenium toning with the MOERSCH MT 1 Selen Toner (1+14).

I have just framed the picture and found a nice place for it.
